Peterson is mandatory to the WBA title. Porter vs. Berto was elivated to title eliminator by the WBC, which means the winner of that fight becomes the mandatory to the WBC title. They haven't made an announcement on what that does for Amir Khan who was the mandatory, although it was reported that Khan would lose his WBC mandatory slot if he fought Pac. Still, there has been no word on that just yet.

He is the best at 126 imo, obviously has to prove it, but I don't see LSC, Frampton, Selby or GRJ beating him. He is exciting, talented and has a built in fan base. Sadly unless Bob is willing to work with Haymon, we will continue to see him just blast out mid tier guys. Maybe they can get him Selby, but Bob never seems real enthusiastic about sending his guys to the UK either.
