When they announced split decision I thought "gift" Garcia was going to get another one (after Herrera, Peterson).
Those who troll about Garcia winning or even getting a draw are mainly Ricans.

You add up the last 3 rounds thurman gave away it's not hard to see how it was closer.

Average fight...no drama or signature Rd. Good performance by Thurman. Amazing Danny said he thought he won afterwards.....He fought like a fighter who knew he needed a Ko or at least a knockdown the last few rounds. No more bs gifts for Garcia.

36 years ago we had Ray leonard vs Thomas Hearns for the WBC & WBA titles and tonight we had thurman vs garcia...its safe to say boxing has regressed.....fight was ok but lacked something

Leonard Hearns is a bit of an unfair standard. 2 of the greatest fighters in the history of the division in a fight that exceeded it's extremely high expectations. Can you think of a welterweight title fight in the 30 years prior to that fight that you felt was as good?

Boring fight. As i expected, Danny wasn't hable to handle Keith's movement. I wish 1 Time would of thrown more combos but he still did just enough to get a well deserved decision. I don't wanna see this fight ever again.

Keith Thurman now has back to back Wins over Shawn "Showtime" Porter & Danny "Swift" Garcia, the new unified 147 champion is no doubt a top 5 P4P fighter. He should be on EVERYONE'S list now.

I would like to see Thurman vs Cotto next, Keith needs more exposure to the casual fans and that fight is a step in the right direction, that or an easier guy like Amir Khan...the world needs to know about Keith One Time Thurman!

I thought Garcia did enough to win. He shoulda been busier though, then they would have to give it to him. It was close, Thurman threw a lot more, but I don't know if he landed more in a lot of the rounds. Can't b*tch really. There isn't going to be an immediate rematch, but it might happen. Thurman is not facing Spence we know that. So, who else is there really? Khan, if he beats Pac, if Khan wins, that will happen for sure. If Pac wins, he isn't going to fight Thurman, so who else is there for Thurman?

Alot of rounds Thurman only fought the last 20 seconds of the rounds...You making it seem like he dominated when compubox said otherwise...You ****boys hate Danny Garcia that much that even a fight that could've went either way is considered a beating..Run time brought them track shoes after the fourth rd

Garcia wasn't active enough. He wanted to work the body but thurman was the one that did the better body work. Easy fight to score.
