Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Is Parker Ready For Me? I'm Ready For Him!

BIRMINGHAM, AL. - Undefeated heavyweight world champion Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) knocked out Gerald "El Gallo Negro" Washington (18-1-1, 12 KOs) in the fifth round of the main event of Premier Boxing Champions on FOX and FOX Deportes at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL.

Parker would lose easily to Wilder, we've seen Wilder look bad against Spzilika and Washington, Washington is equally as big as Wilder and has a good jab, Parker might have a good jab but he's not nearly as big as Washington and Wilder, and Spzilika was using constant head movement, with a very awkward style and in a southpaw stance, all something Parker is not. I see Haye beating Wilder due to power, speed, and accuracy, Wlad and Joshua beat him due to size and power, and if Fury comes back he'd win as well, hell maybe even Breazeale has a chance, he has lots of heart, a decent chin, and lots of ****ing power

Parker is a solid fighter so let's make it happen. He has a couple nice names on his resume for sure & he is a worthy opponent. This fight is a toss up but I got to lean 75/25 for Wilder. I'm not even 100% sure Parker gets past Hughie Fury. There are some interesting fights on the horizon in the HW division. We should be able to have a undisputed champion by spring of 2018. That frigging Pulev IBF mandatory is what is holding up the division. If they could get him to take step aside money (Which I doubt he will unless it is for a few million) then we could have an undisputed champion by years end. Then again Tyson Fury could be back in the picture so who knows then? He is the man to beat outside Wilder. All his belts were never won in the ring...

Kevin Barry was there, but in an ESPN article saying Parker and Wilder can fight in August or September. That's a long time from now. Parker/Fury pushed back possibly to May I have also read. This is on purpose, Wilder isn't going away though, his execution date will come.

It is was pushed back to May because Hughie Fury waited until the last minute to sign the contract, confirmed by Fury/Warren.

Wilder cant avoid the big names anymore.Fury,Joshua & Haye all beat Wilder.Wilder vs Parker is a 50/50 fight IMO.I can better evaluate it after watching Parker vs Hughie Fury.

**** ! Wilder got outboxed by a football player.Imagine what a real boxer and Olympic Gold medalist & current World Champ Joshua would do to him. Hell Wilder also avoids old Ortiz.

Okay, but the finish to the Washington fight was a bit over the top. Some of those hay makers that Deontay threw crossed over into Tennessee ffs. Joshua would dice both of 'em.
