Comments Thread For: Hughie Fury's Trainer: He Must Rip Title Away From Joseph Parker

Another world heavyweight title could be coming back to the Fury family on April 1. Hughie Fury, cousin of former undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson, will challenge WBO belt holder Joseph Parker on April 1 in New Zealand. The fight had been agreed recently with the venue proving to be the sticking point. Hughie took to Twitter last Friday to say "Venue set, New Zealand here we come. Bringing our belt back home."

I'm normally a big supporter of any brit fighting for a world title but i have to say ive never been less enthused for a world title fight. And yes im including the fecking jokes that are team eubanks in that. I cant stand the fury brand. And this isn't even the big gyppo himself. Just a spotty cousin.

Hughie has got a solid jab, great footwork and nice movement. If he's healthy and fully recovered from his illnesses he could box the swede off of the Kiwi.

He's vastly underrated I ny opinion, a lot of people don't know much about him but for a 22 year kid who's been fiarly inactive with health issues he's got some decent names on his record and could cause a big shock here.

I think it's an exciting match up, huge puncher against the boxer. Furry looked like he wanted out against Kassi who was a lesser puncher and significantly less technical than the underrated Parker. I expect a big KO or Fury to quit possibly on his stool, he'll get no favours from British officials or judges in this fight.

weak frail unbuilt Hughie couldn't rip a piece of paper in two

Hughie fluff Fury is a joke a weak spaghetit noodle armed flat chested nothing. Parker on a decision as Parker is overrated also.

What about the UCAD hearing? Is UCAD just accepting that Hughie dopes?

I'll go out on a limb here and say it, parker is going to look good against this guy, it'll be short and sweet, an aggressive parker is as dangerous as any other top heavyweight and he likes fighting taller guys, time will tell but I'm going with a parker ko in the fourth or fifth round. Guys need power to beat Joe, don't think fury has enough to keep Joe at bay

Good fight, two young heavyweights taking risks.
