I don't know why danny would hire algieri I doubt chris is some type of diet guru.I remember when algieri failed to make weight for his biggest fight against pacquiao. he's struggled making weight himself lol.
the guy came in overweight for his fight with pac and struggled making weight against spence.why should anybody listen to him when his dietician plans don't work.
Explain? Jacobs and his team are clearly not very confident of getting the win, as reflected by their talk of 'trying' and 'attempting' to put the beatdown on GGG. Goddamn, Jacobs has even been quoted as saying, - he knows he only has a puncher's chance. When asked how he sees the fight going, Virgil says: "It's hard to say... could be a fight where you'd expect Golovkin to win, but anything could happen..." Hmmm, fighting words these are not.
There's no rational explanation for how Jacobs can win this, except perhaps by a lucky shot... GGG beats him in all areas: ringmanship, power, defence, accuracy, effective aggression
I see Jacobs walking into shots early on, getting pushed back and being forced to box off the back foot, before taking some heavy punishment and being ground down. As per.

you seem to forget, Pac dragged Algieri up from 140
you really think that Algieri suddenly struggled to make a HIGHER weight-class upon the shock of hearing that he suddenly became Pacquiao's next opponent?
the dude has a masters degree in nutrition from the New York Institute of Technology

you are seeing what you want to see
I see Golovkin respecting Jacobs power early, and taking awhile to settle in
Can Jacobs take a GGG punch? Probably not-timber falling KO
Big ears Jacobs is a respectable average fighter with some decent boxing skills. GGG is much better and at a another level. No shame in Jake getting KO'd at home and embarrassed in front of Bigs ears whole family and friends. Get the payday and go home and relax and get back in line for say Charlo????

You're probably right, we all have our biases... Trying to take a step back and be objective, though, it still just seems to me that there's no way Jacobs can win this except by getting lucky
