Who??? Lara couldn't even get ppl to attend his last fight in lil Cuba. Andrade is soo popular he's fighting in Germany. He better win by KO or hes going home with a loss. German judges makes CJ Ross look like the best judge ever.

Don't be shocked when a German fighter gets the UD in Germany. Andrade has to win by KO or TKO. I've seen some of the worst robberies ever come from Germany.

      but yea, probably
This fight is going to be won at the negotiation table. Depending on what weight it's fought at. Ppl don't know how hard it is for older fighter especially ones So inactive to make unrealistic weights and box.

        just thinking about it.....

        I don't think Cotto can make 150

        would be very surprised

        Cotto weighs 153

a fighter advanced in age - but still dedicated/professional - made 153lb CONSECUTIVELY, with the limit in both fights being 157/155 respectively..... meaning that he weighs 153, period..... he came in at his best fighting weight

I think 3lbs - at this stage - would have to affect him

        just imho

Unfortunately hate blinds. Some people are not ok with two over the hill, old future HOF fighters figuring out a good weight to make an interesting fight, kinda like Canelo and Chavez did, but they're ok sacrificing one of said fighters to unknown, bigger, younger and dangerous fighters?

I'm not sure why the hate for Cotto is so deep with some, it's not like he's holding the mw title hostage anymore. If you don't like a fighter don't read about him or watch his fights. For example, Khan annoys me, however, I don't wish to see him destroyed everytime he gets into the ring.

I'm also not asking him to retire just because I don't like him. In recent history i've only wanted three fighters to retire, and none of them it was because I hated them. I wanted Mayweather to retire because I didn't want him to tarnish his record by sticking around too long and losing to a lesser fighter. I also want the same for Pacquiao, and I hope Roy Jones Jr. Doesn't ever take another punch to the head. But that's it, fighters I don't like I just avoid, you know kind of how Canelo avoided GGG.

Well said! I have no problem with JMM vs. Cotto??? In fact it think JMM has a great chance of winning if he get the fight at 150 and under. Every lb up from their will GREATLY favor Cotto. Both are for SURE HOFamers and both are very long in the tooth. And are way past their prime. It's a good fairwell fight to make. Give fans one last chance to watch them go off into the sunset hopefully for good. Both would make good trainers IMO or announcers.

Not just your opinion but very solid logic and well thought out. Heck its at 150 or less and odds are right I would put $$$ on JMM. Same goes for Cotto and the other way.

Also you think Andrade has any shot at winning a decision in Germany against that German boxer??? Andrade Is a HUGE favorite and thinking of throwing a lil $$ for fun on the German to win by decision. I really don't trust German Judging. Especially against Americans??? I was shocked to learn he was fighting over there. IMO he has to win by KO or TKO?? Thoughts?

Marquez bandwaggoners should not worry. Unless VADA testing is involved.

there could be some truth in your post, not sure..... but my reason for disliking that fight is the exact same reason why I dislike every other catchweight/exhibition match/circus fight.....

..... regardless as to who wins..... the result will be controversial because of the weight.....

..... and also because of age, inactivity, injury

                    catchweight fights suck

absolutely..... but fk betting on boxing, and fk taking my advice

seen some super-weird things in sport during my lifetime

I had a grand on the Blues to beat the Bulls, 6th round of the comp, the Blues were red-hot, leading the comp, and had won every away game..... and the Bulls were on the bottom, winless..... but it rained in Pretoria for the first time in 20 years and the Bulls ground out a 9-8 win

my advice is..... keep your money

but if not, drink plenty of german beer during the fight
