Comments Thread For: Premier Boxing Champions Aiming For a Loaded February Run

Premier Boxing Champions opened its third season with an explosive collision between newly-crowned WBC 126-pound champion Leo Santa Cruz and Ireland's Carl Frampton, and a devastatingly impressive performance by Mikey Garcia, who scored a devastating third round knockout against Dejan Zlaticanin to win the WBC 135-pound world title this past Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Great way start the year and set the var for everyone else. These other promoters are going to have to stack their cards too especially if they are competing against them on the same night.

Man, if only Oscar had prevailed in the lawsuit against Haymon he could have stopped these free competitive bouts ( that better matched than ppv) Oscar call Arum aka Uncle Bob, even Don 'trick' king (if he's not busy campaigning for Donald Duck.

Love the planning and outlining of the months to come for these fights.

Now we know dates and what channels PBC is on to become a much easier follow.

The cards are stacked these next 2 months.

          Great Job

No doubt. Great job by these guys right? I'll reward them with my dvr/viewership.

Let's see how HBO counters this schedule! If they can even come close, it will be a great year for boxing!

HBO only has PPV's lined up for the next 5 months, that's why I'm trying to understand why the Vargas/Belchert card couldn't have been on this weekend instead.

I mean its not a huge schedule really.

                  Some decent fights.

Maybe they didn't want to be lost in the media with all the Super Bowl coverage?
