For me Joe Louis would always been the most intimidating boxer of all time.
Shoutout to Lennox Lewis, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Gerald McClellan, Nigel Benn, Fedor Emelianenko, Sonny Liston, Mike Tyson, Jack Dempsey, etc...
Love the Fedor shout out. In his prime, he was one cold blooded mother****er. In a sport full of juicers - especially at that time - this stocky but flabby Russian would look across the ring with zero emotion, proceed to bury people, then walk away with no emotion.

He had the stare of a guy that would kill and gut his opponent, just to use the hide for warmth in the Russian winter. Bad, bad dude.

In boxing..prime Tyson. Same killer instinct. He won most of his fights before the first bell through sheer intimidation.
