    Argentinean puncher Lucas 'La Maquina' Matthysse could end up facing Pablo Cesar Cano of Mexico on May 6th, according to a source who spoke with ESPN Deportes. Matthysse (37-4, 34 KO) has been out of the ring since October 2015, when he suffered an unexpected knockout loss to Viktor Postol in their WBC junior welterweight title fight.

            ****. Just what I didn't need. A good undercard for this fight.

              Good Return Fight

              That would a good return fight for Lucas.

              Cano is a very durable fighter, who's got the chin and skills to test Lucas.

              Solid start Golden Boy to the card if this gets finalized.

                Stacking up the under card is the only way I'm buying this. Matthysse is a good addition. Wonder if we see vintage or a shot Lucas.

                  Cano's coming off a great win vs Hererra and he possesses a big frame and a strong chin, he's only two stoppage losses were due to cuts. Gave morales hell and arguably beat Malignaggi so a very tough and exciting fight if it happens which I hope it well.

                    if im not mistaken, i thought matthysse made the move to 147 once and didnt show he brought his power up. lets see what the lay off did for him. but once an eye is injured, it will consistantly swell in every fight.
