Respect to Jake Donovan for the LONG but GREAT Article of breaking things down. This is not a GOOD LOOK for Boxing at all especially when people IN BOXING accused MMA/UFC fans of being "RACIST SKIN HEADS" when their Industry is NO DIFFERENT!

this was a great read. None of it surprises me. I wouldn't be surprised if guys like bigdunny1 and others work for gbp. It's just refreshing to see all the issues put on the table for people to see.

I honestly just can't understand why fans of this site do not like the idea of more boxing on tv and cable tv that doesn't require you to pay an additional $49.99 and up to watch.

oh they love the free boxing.... They just dont like the fact that a black harvard educated genius is the one running boxing now.... truth be told, some people just have a problem with black people thriving or perceived to be thriving. It is what it is. They can say all they want, but their brush already paint a clear picture.

this is the best post i've ever seen from you and something i and others probably should have thought about more. Arum did seem to go from "hellbent on destruction" to taking making a great deal, making peace with pbc, and moving forward.

has pbc been a huge success in its early run? No, heck no, they have kinks they have to work out, and we shall see if they find their way, any major company starting out, any business in inception, i like to give them breathing room as they find their way

however, i do believe, in this small tight knit boxing community and media press, there has been a smear campaign to completely undermine and thrash haymon at all costs

idk why, is it because there's bitterness on the split with hbo

yes b/c the guy was a federal prosecutor, he knows the litigation game better than the average cookie.

arum was also investigated by the fbi and justive department for fixing fights, paying fighters to lose and having fake weigh ins with fake weighing machines...... fk golden girls and top stank. They tried to freeze al haymon out by refusing to co promote fights with al haymon's fighters. Hbo has bob arum and oscar de la hoya by the nuts. Hbo is mad because al haymon talked floyd into leaving hbo for showtime. Calling haymon "black hitler" is ignorant.

actually what is ironic is arum's lawsuit opened the door for golden boy's big espn deal. As part of the agreement for arum to drop the lawsuit, haymon agreed to give us his exclusivity contracts at pbc networks. Without haymon giving that up, oscar couldn't have brokered this deal.

this is so spot on! Hauser and lampley are puppets, whose jobs are to "kill" the pbc and anyone associated with haymon (mayweather)! Notice how hauser (nor lampley) never did any investigative journalism when roach said ariza was giving pacquiao "suspect" shakes!
