If true a very nice gesture can't learn defense and head movement from anyone better . But it should be used for emergencies only! She has to get back to take downs and arm bars standup shouldn't even be a thought just a skill incase cornered don't think you are a boxer even after the best teaches you same as Floyd can never be a takedown arm bar expert or use that as his first line of attack fire trainer go back to your roots

Of course training Rousey would be good money, and more importantly, great PR for Floyd (and therefore TMT). But I like the maturity he's shown the last year or so. He could've dumped on Rhonda and used the past to deepen the animosity between them; instead, he chose to move forward and offer his help. Thumbs up.

So, now that's Jeff, Roger, Floyd Sr. and Floyd Jr. -- all the Mayweathers are keen to help Rhonda fight better.

They've all weighed in with the offer. Why? I attribute this to a good trait of theirs -- she's been humbled to hell and they don't feel like piling on. They know she is the worst striker in professional combat sports, by millions of miles and genuinely want to help. Good on them. (It can't be they find her attractive...I sure don't, and I never did get that....)

If I were in her shoes and still wanted to fight, I'd take them up on it. It would be an awesome story -- and she could replace her current sucky trainer.

The key difference is that boxing and striking for MMA require different types of understanding; if she were to take up the offer to train her striking under the Mayweather's, it'd be in her interest to try and work with Jeff Mayweather (and sumplement the rest of her MMA game with some LV MMA gym.

Which is a lot to ask, tbh.

Frankly, she should simply move to Stockton and throw down with the Skrap Pack.

All this Floyd taking the high road isn't as much fun to me as the days of him jawing at De La Hoya and the likes at pre-fight press conferences lol, but overall, I'm glad he's becoming a good person as he gets older.

Yeah, no question, she's bad. I re-read your post and I completely see the hyperbole now..I took it literally.

It's incredible how quickly she was exposed, starting with Holm. It showed that anyone who can strike, and understood how to establish distance, could eat her alive. Rousey had absolutely nothing when she couldn't just bumrush her opponent.

I can't remember many auras being destroyed as quickly, and as sensationally, as Rousey's.
