What I mean by that is Liam Neeson has tested his mettle against other men who were attacking him with the intent to hurt him.

Steven Seagal trained his way to being an Aikido black belt without ever having to compete. This is the equivalent of amateur boxers competing for a gold medal, where the winner is decided based on who had the best technique on the heavy bag, without ever having to engage other amateurs in the ring.

Liam Neeson is in his 60's and should've stopped sparring years ago. When is the last time Steven Seagal sparred anyone...and I mean sparring, not demonstrations where his pupils are purposely falling all over the place to make him look special.

You can practice as much as you want, but until you've had punches coming back at you with mean intentions you don't know what you're really made of. Steven Seagal hasn't been there...Liam Neeson has. That's the difference between someone who practices Martial arts and a Fighter.
