Then it's written in stone, he's retiring. Cause obviously there's no great demand among fans for any boxing, much less the kind Ward brings. You don't need silly stunts to figure that one out

Hey settle down bruh, you're gonna break your keyboard. Rematch will solve this, it's all good.

114-113 Kovalev doesn't sound like a clear cut victory ...so how TF is this a "robbery"? ...if it's that close, it's a toss up, can go either way. I saw Ward winning by the same score.

I would compare it more to pacman-Bradley 1.
Calzaghe/Hopkins could've gone either way.. Joe retired without a rematch.. did that damage his legacy?

yes. his legacy is trash and it was an easy hopkins win. he was the only one landing clean punches. at least in some of these other fights both guys are landing and its more subjective.

Both scenarios warrant a rematch. It's also contractual obligation on wards part..............

I wouldn't say Joe's legacy is trash.. I mean he has wins over Eubank, Bika, prime Kessler and he ruined a prime Jeff Lacy . .but the Hopkins rematch should've taken place to clear things up. . Andre Ward's resume blows Calzaghe out the water though.

"I've accomplished everything" Most of the boxing world thought you lost the fight of your life. Avenge it and be a champion.

Dan Raphael in his chat last week said about 75% of boxing analysts had it 115-112 for kovalev. The same score I had.

If not a robbery, it's a stain on Wards legacy.
sigh.....how can a guy be a coward if he actually fought the guy ?!?!? cowards would have stayed down. ward got up and made it to the final bell. whether or not you think he won, ward is far from being a coward. one can say his resume is tougher than kovs.

it will only solve everything if ward wins again. if kov wins, it doesnt solve a thing.

If he retires after that fight, having signed the rematch clause, he will go out as a loser and one of the biggest ducks of all time.
