    They robbed Ward of FOTY and now they try'n rob him of his P4P 1 status why these lil G fanboys doin this doe?

          He had a great year, but many people also thought he lost against Kovalev. Unfortunately, you won't get fighter of the year honors if people believe you should have lost a fight.

          Regardless lets hope he has another active year the way he was in 2016. If 2017 he fights 2 or 3 times, one of those beating Kovalev convincingly in a rematch he wins FOTY for sure.

            kov looked terrible in his fight before ward, lost to ward, and he gets put above ward in the honorable mentions? The man went up in weight and beat barrera, then beat kov, even if u felt he lost the logic is twisted.

              I agree he should have been in the honorable mentions list.
              He had a great year. He still wouldn't have won though.

              However as I said, I hope in 2017 he stays as active as in 2016. If he rematches Kovalev and beats him convincingly plus has another fight or two he should win it for sure.

                He'll be p4p number 1 if he beats Kovalev again, I back him to do it again, Ward learnt more about Kovalev than vice versa, will be a much clearer win next time
