True, Bruce Lee wouldn't fight clean martial arts are to defend yourself at all costs and Lee just clearly has too many tricks in his books for someone like Floyd.

I do remember one of his students saying Lee was very surprised at the cardio needed in real fights, but he didn't say how big the guy was he was fighting. But I wouldn't like to take him on with nunchukas.

The best way I can answer this question is if I imagned what all the great coaches would say if they met Bruce.
If Roach trained Bruce, or Floyd senior or Cus dmato. I bet they would say Bruce lee would become a champion and be a great boxer.

As for street fight. Its not clear how long Floyd would last in a real fight with Bruce. Im estimating about 10 seconds or how long it takes Lee to close the gap and snuff the life out of Floyd, but Floyd might surprise us and last a little longer.

Bruce Lee took boxing in college because he felt that it was much more useful than traditional martial arts in real situations. I remember reading that Bruce won the boxing tournament in Hong Kong and even KO'ed a British boxing champion.

Obviously Bruce went on to become an actor and developed his own martial arts style. But if he had become a boxer, do ya'll think he would have become world champion? All around him who have watched him seem to think so.

Also, I saw this interview where Mayweather said that Bruce Lee wasn't real like he was. Who do you guys think would win in a real fight, Mayweather or Bruce Lee??

Could Bruce Lee have become a World Champ? Well he did have really fast hands and fast hands can take a boxer to the championship level. But lets be real here, there are lots of fighters with crazy hand speed that have earned titles but to keep a title or to become elite, you need a lot more than hand speed...

I honestly don't think he'd land many punches on Lee. The guy was known himself for his hand and foot speed. He had to intentionally slow himself down to catch his movements on film.
