      boxing has 17 weight classes.

there is only one weight class where the WBC, WBA and IBF agree on who the world champion is: middleweight.

GGG is currently dominating his weight class more than any other fighter in the sport. canelo had to hide at the non-existent 155 pound weight class to avoid him and is now jumping to the non-existent 165 pound weight class to avoid him.

the GGG haters need to get a life. i am not a GGG fan, but he's the most dominant champion in boxing, which should make him #1 pound for pound IMO.

That's because he's in the weakest division in the sport..and one of the oldest champions.

Thats not all Bhop fought he also fought superstars , but your level of guy quoted is the ONLY level GGG has fought , in all honesty GGG needs to fight some real elite fighters before he is an old man .

I mean really , the best fighter on GGGs resume is a WW that only beat one other top guy .

GGGs resume is pitiful considering all the hype around him , its like a fast track Butterbean .

you only think it's a weak division because he's been so dominant. people said the same thing about klitschko. when a bunch of guys are running around calling themselves world champion, a division seems deeper than it really is.

That's fine, let's not make this about Canelo vs GayLoveKin, we're talking about division champions...how many times did wladimir defend his title? Well let's take a look....

                1. Joe Louis 11 years, 8 months, 8 days
                2. Wladimir Klitschko 9 years, 7 months, 7 days
                3. Larry Holmes 7 years, 3 months, 12 days
                4. Jack Dempsey 7 years, 2 months, 19 days

Now, you can argue that division was also weak, but he fought EVERYBODY there was to fight...and at 240 lbs, it's not like he had any options of moving to another division...why doesn't he get credit like puzzy azz GayLoveKin get? Golovkin is a weak azz champion, in a weak azz division, and makes ****ing pathetic excuses and they outright LIE to the public about their intentions, and their willingness to fight the best. Golovkin is a hbo created hype job that backfired on them on his very first ppv and now can't make a ****ing fight to save his life because of the greed of k2 promotions along with the fear of knowing he will be fully exposed if ever he steps into the ring with an elite.

Know the difference? Hopkins did a catchweight with Oscar....GayLoveKin is too puzzy to do that though.

Also let's add that like brook, Trinidad was heavier than Hopkins (I know that argument only is fair when you use it to benefit triple pussE).

Hopkins also moved up 2 divisions, which triple pussE has yet to to do, nor will he ever. Therefore, you're argument has now been crushed...you're fuggin welcome

Look at the guy Hopkins fought at 160, that was a weak division back then. MW right now is not weak, GGG beat a lot of very recognizable good names. Your arguments are weak because you are a weak human being, a weak desperate hater.

GGG makes good opponents look weak. Martinez who was supposedly a very good champion went life and death with the guys that GGG destroyed. Another supposedly great fighter in Canelo is dropping his belts, a whole division is ducking a fighter because he is just on a whole other level and people are afraid to have their career shortened by a GGG beating.
