So maybe it's business for him to accept 10 millions. But only he knows.. I would favour something like a 70-30 split.

There goes Oscar with his same flat fee BS that didn't work on GGG and I'll bet won't work on Chavez either. Why would Chavez take 6 million flat fee bucks and watch Canelo make perhaps 5 times that much? I am a big Canelo fan and will be rooting for him if this fight does happen. Oscar is a serious cheapskate when it comes to offering fighters what they are worth.

Cotto isn't fighting Canelo again for any amount of money in my opinion. Cotto only fights once every 16 months or so. He wants to go out a winner, not get beat up and probably knocked out by Canelo. The 3 guys he considered fighting were Marquez, Bradley and Kirkland. All guys he is confident he can beat. Kirkland will probably be his last fight.

GB really doesn't want burn out their cash cow....getting chavez jr down to 165 is an advantage to canela. more ppv buys than saunders..chavez jr then ggg in sept...easily 1 million ppv per fight vs 300k vs saunders, 300k vs someother welterweight or featherweight
