He said Smith pushed him out of the ring when he did not push him.
To be fair the judge Tom Taylor I think he scored it in a manner that I couldn't criticize him.
The fans along with two of the judges were giving Bhop the benefit of the doubt which shouldn't happen in boxing there should always be a strict manner of how you score a fight.
Yeah shocking he is still calling that a push he has seen the replay.

Where the hell have you been at? Explain in a 2-3 page essay, 12 font size, double spaced. On my desk by tomorrow 9AM. No late assignments accepted unless proper documentation is provided. Failure to hand in the assigment will result in a zero.
Kev, I was trying to find the thread I made with a photoshop of Hopkins trying to stop the conjunction of the moon and Venus, can you find it?

Nothing funnier than a fouler complaining about being fouled. Such a sore loser.

I wouldn't mind so much, but the **** makes me stay up till 4am to watch his ****.

I've won cash on some Hopkins bouts, so I like him for that, but the **** could made the Normandy D-Day landings seem boring..., right -Kev-?

Hopkinate, n. to take the interest out of something; "I was really looking forward to that, but it got Hopkinated."
Yes, his head butting is notorious and notoriously in-punished, as was Holyfield's. His career might have gone about the same, but some of his fights would have been closer with points deductions. Even cheating couldn't save him in several fights. I'm sure Trinidad would have enjoyed seeing him penalized but there's nothing we can do about it now. Poor officiating leads to guys getting away with cheating, which can definitely cause viewers to stop watching. But oh well. Looks like he's gone for good this time.

Did it look to anyone else like Hopkins pissed in hs pants a little after he was knocked out of the ring?

I think he shit it, and was looking for an excuse... the ankle injury did it. The daft **** didn't even land on his ankle.

I am not a fan of his dirty fighting and he can be a poor sport and a sore loser. He gave Smith zero credit for his win and falsely accused Smith of pushing him out of the ring. Some of the crowd wrongly and ******ly booed Smith for doing his job in an excellent and legal fashion.
The thing that really puzzles me about Hopkins is the hypocrisy when it comes to illegal tactics; it is OK for him to foul and try to play the rules but what a moaning b*tch he becomes as soon as someone puts it on him.

"Big Bernard" isn't the rought tough guy he likes to project himself as.

A prime James Toney would have RUINED himj!

Over the course of his long career did he ever bum you?

I caught that and did a double take. Hopkins was acting so weird, punch drunk.

I'm not sure he ever did, now you mention it. He gave me a lot of head, obviously.

Piss-taking aside, though (and as a decade-long ragger on Hopkins I find this moment more saddening than I thought I would) I have to give him credit for still being reasonably coherent after not only being momentarily sparked, but also falling right on his head outside the ring. Sure, his feet dangling over the ring apron was a chuckle, but most 52 year olds would be DEAD, let alone getting up.

Also, while it kind of serves him right for all that "COMMON man" **** he was spewing, the guy was clearly not even the same guy who fought Kovalev.

Glad to have you back. Hopkins and his head butting are legendary. The art of the well placed head butt is often overlooked.
