    Is Crawford a younger Mayweather?

Can we say Crawford is a younger Mayweather? Do you agree with Freddie Roach when he says Crawford is a young version of Floyd?

    Smilarity:
-They are both the same size
    -Both undefeated
-Both are multiple weight champions (Crawford will likely become a champion at 147, is unified champion at 135-140)
-Both are getting past challenges making it seem easy.
-Both are getting discredited for their wins
-Both are fighters we can say are not brawlers, but are experts of the ''sweet science'' of boxing.

    Difference:
-Mayweather was trash talking alot, wich made him become popular to casual fans around the world // Crawford is quiet, he might never become as popular.

They are boxers and that's where it ends. They fight nothing alike.

No. It's a damn shame people don't realize how dominant young Mayweather was. Say all you want about cherry picking and being defensive minded and Vegas judges and Kenny Bayless. But go back and look at young Mayweather's performances. He was dominant. The first and only scorecard Mayweather lost was against Oscar. THE GUY HAS ONLY LOST ONE SCORECARD HIS WHOLE CAREER AND THAT WAS AGAINST THE HOUSE AND MONEY FIGHTER IN VEGAS!!!!!

Okay, i've been a Mayweather fan too before he became too main street. But actually, Crawford is as dominant as Mayweather ever was. Crawford never came close to loose in one scorecard as far as i know.

Crawford hasn't fought the same level of opponents as Mayweather. Floyd was fighting Molina, Jean, Lundy type competition his first year in the game. Really go back and look at Floyd's early resume when he was with Top Rank. Arum threw him to the wolves early because he knew Floyd was that great. He was fighting solid, tough tested pros. Guys who weren't easy outs. Guys who would expose you if you weren't the goods. And Crawford is way bigger than the guys he's been fighting. Gamboa, Lundy, Jean, those guys all moved up a weight class to fight Crawford. And none of them are world beaters. Look at the level of competition

Postol, Beltran, Gamboa, Burns, these are all champions, world class fighters to start with.

Postol, Molina are 2 of his last 3 fights, and those guys are taller than him. Molina even came 4 pound heavyer for weight in.

Anyway, you just proved my point, people are clearly not giving TC the credit he deserve for been such a dominant champion.

I've never seen Floyd get schooled for 3-4 rounds by a smaller fighter

Look, and I really like Crawford too but he can't fight in the pocket like Mayweather and he doesn't have Mayweather's arsenal offensively. Still a lot more room for improvement though.

Crawford might have lost 3 rounds, but did not schooled. And a boxing fight 12 rounds, how many time did Crawford drop Gamboa after rounds 4?

And i never seen Mayweather fight a olympic gold medalist in pro boxing. You can discredit Gamboa win as much as you want, this guy is still a beast, he got so much speed it's still impressive.
