He looked absolutely awful. He didn't win that fight. I couldn't even find 6 rounds for him, never mind 8. Even 5 is being kind.

That said, he's been out a year with injuries, split from his long-time trainer and stopped sparring over a month ago just to lose weight. He can't blame other people from some of those things though. He entered camp like this:

Don't know how this plays out, but one thing is for sure, GGG wants BJS's belt more than anything else.

GGG has 2 years left. He pretty much said as much in a press conference in Astana. He's got time to unify, but not much else.

The comments from GGG's team about a fight in Astana are interesting. GGG is as big in Kazakhstan as Pac is in the Philippines. The fight would likely be at the Astana stadium (30,000 seater) or Bary's Ice Palace, and word from Kazakhstan is that he would fill either. Also, that it would be the biggest night in Astana EVER. Kazakhstan can pay 40m to cyclists to wear the badge, so money is there. And interest in an event like this would be up to presidential level.

Pretty sure that if they played it out right, we could see BJS vs GGG in Astana for GGG to unify on home turf.

              Could happen......
It would never work because of the time difference from major markets and the amt they could make in England... I could see him fighting a unknown mandatory there, that's about it.

Bottom line is that BJS is at risk of losing his belt to a no-name for chump change if he's not careful, I suspect he goes for the payday (Canelo or GGG) sooner not later.
