No. Nothing like Golovkin. When did Golovkin beat a top 3-5 p4p fighter? Or Loma for that matter? When did top fighters start by passing 160 and going to 68 like LSC, Mares, and Frampton did going to 126 just to avoid him?
People WANT to fight GGG just not everybody...GGG has no shortage of guys trying to fight him. NOBODY wants to fight Rigo. Now, if I'm being fair..I don't think GGG should have to move up an entire weight class to fight anyone if he doesn't want to and meeting halfway is ideal. Lomachenko is significantly bigger than Rigo and it should have been made at 124..I dont blame either for wanting to give the other an "advantage" as Rigo is VERY small and incredibly lean already. I dont see where he can even put on 4 pounds for 126...let alone giving up an advantage to a guy bigger than Walters (who himself was bigger than Donaire...and Donaire seemed considerably bigger than Rigo iirc).
I do think Rigo should have been out there can crushing at a steady rate til everybody was forced to fight him if they wanted to make something at 122...but he's been inactive. It's tough to take him off the p4p (imo) because he hasnt lost and some of the bigger names at 26 avoided him in a most cowardly way. Unless you've got some agenda, it was pretty obvious Frampton, LSC, and Abner likely took dominant losses had they stepped up.
What is it with these cuban fighters and ****ty career management though? Gamboa fighting Crawford? Wtf were they thinking even letting Gamboa at that weight class let alone against a stud like Crawford witha HUGE size advantage. What's Lara up to (no..for real I want to know when he fights again...)What's Rigo up to? Does Solis still box?
Rigo shouldnt be 3-5 p4p despite being that type of fighter due to inactivity but I can't take him off until someone does it in the ring. He's amazing and if they were closer in size (and therefore the fight happened) Lomachenko would be the only guy with more than just a "chance" against him. Lets be real...without having to pick someone bigger than him? Who REALLY beats Rigo?
He hits too hard and his skillset isnt typical of 122 coming from that stance.

What did rigo really do? Other than beating Donaire who didn't even train for the fight.
His style is his style, but even the new hotness on this site, Vasyl Lomachenko, doesn't even hint at wanting to fight him, with his promoter being openly hostile to even the idea of taking the fight.
Hate if you want

That "Challenge From Loma" came years later after beating Donaire while Rigo was trying to sort out his Promotional Situation before ultimately signing with Roc Nation. But in between him whipping Donaire until now, he made about 2 Top guys at 122 at the time (Santa Cruz and Frampton) move up wanting nothing to do with Rigo. Kinda hard to further build your resume further when stuff like that is going on in the world of boxing

People have been blatantly and openly ducking Golovkin at 160 the same way Rigondeaux was blatantly and openly ducked at 122. Both fighters were offered big fights a weight above and both rejected and threw out unreasonable catchweight proposals instead. It's literally the same thing.

Ricardo Cordoba, a slightly faded Agbeko, Ramos at his peak when a world champion.
What are you to do when everyone is leaving the division and swerving you like the plague?
The guys even reinvented his style to try lure these cowards in ffs lol

Rigo has about as many fans as Lara does on this site and he's hardly ever spoken of.
Don't worry, lad. Rigo was largely at fault for the Lomachenko fight not happening so there's no need to minimize him any further in attempt to make Lomachenko look good.
EDIT: Frampton and Santa Cruz ducked the crap out of him by the way. They weren't exactly nobodies.
