It would be dishonest not to acknowledge that this may in fact be a terrible fight. Not a guaranteed stinker but it's very possible.

High probability indeed. Thankfully this fight isn't happening. I'd like to see them in an amateur contest though.

... Rigo would end by bullying the bully...

Aside from the size differential, I see this as a very bad style match up for Vasyl Lomachenko. This fight would be all wrong for him.

While both guys are exceptionally technical and fundamentally sound, Rigondeaux is a lot faster, with a better defense and is also a more devastating counter puncher too.

While Vasyl likes to fight a short range, Guillermo likes to fight a long range and will counter Loma every time he attempts to rush in. This inability of cutting off the ring will hurt his chances of catching Rigondeaux cleanly because Guillermo is a master at spacing and distance.

Also, Rigondeaux won't stand and trade punches either. He won't rip off multiple punch combinations like Lomachenko but he will land his straight left at will.

Guillermo would make this a very slow paced fight. This would be a detriment to Lomachenko's fast paced style because he likes to throw tons of punches in bunches.

The only advantage Lomachenko would have over Rigondeaux is size and power.

Rigo brings no money, no fans, and a boring day at the office.
What kind of money, fans did Walters bring? Did Walters fight an exciting fight?

              Compubox punches/round

              Rigo 71 vs 30 Agbeko
              Loma 62 vs 37 Walter

What is the difference for HBO? Both receive low numbers, specially the Rigo one when HBO was competing with SHO with a card at the same time.
Rigo is seen as more defensive and Lom as more offensive while being defensive minded. The masses stopped watching Rigo vs Agbeko and booing while no one has booed Lom's mixture of offense a defense.

Walters was clearly perceived as being an exciting fighter and Lom a sensational fighter and the fight was expected to be one of the best matchups of the year and a foregone conclusion it would be exciting. Rigo has been perceived as not being exciting which caused all his problems though his promoter mistreated him and so did the boxing world, even though Rigo is a great fighter. It is what it is. Both fighters would want a great deal of money and no one is wiling to put up the money for a Lom vs Rigo. Besides, Rigo was dropped by Arum and Haymon refused him so that leaves nothing. And don't forget, both Lom and Walters are with Arum.

Lol, you might not like or agree with what I said, but look at the opponents Loma has fought, now look at the list of opponents he hasn't fought. Anybody who has been watching both Loma and Walters, would know that Walters was/is vastly overrated. My post just pointed out how massive Walters is for the super featherweight division, with a resume with no real challenges other than an outweighed/sized Donaire. My post also pointed out how rediculous it is to place him on a p4p list when has done nothing to warant it. I teally don't think that can be argued.

                    It's just a little argument.
That's the point of a forum. We have conversations, we argue, we agree, etc.
Imagine if everyone had the same mindset. It would be ****ing boring.

It's not that ****ing serious. You ****ing idiot.
Awww I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, haahahaha. And yep, that's the point of a forum, to state opinions and points and to discuss topics, but that's very different from crying and crying that my fav fighter is better than yours because he does nt duck others, but others duck him.and true, its not that serious fckkn idiot. So stop crying and barking and getting puzszy hurt

The masses booed Rigo vs Abeko because Rigo had the fight in the bag and didn't' go for the finish. He cruised to the end (like Floyd ALWAYS did yet everyone wants to tune in to watch Floyd who is just as "boring" as Rigo)...

Now, What makes Loma vs Rigo such a great fight is,.. that although Rigo is great, I don't think he's great enough to completely neutralize Loma's offense and cruise to a decision...Neither is Loma so great to completely smother and bully Rigo without tasting the power of Rigo's left hand from time to time... This fight will be very close from start to finish which makes it so interesting...

Still waiting on Loma to respond to Rigo. Arum probably told him not to say anything
