• Holding Walters head down after getting hit with a Jab.
• Shifts, creates a angle then briefly holds Walters head and attempts an ELBOW...Vasily then tries the same ( cuts a angle, deliberately holds Walters head in an attempt to land a body shot.) TWICE.
• Here you can see a pattern that triggers Loma's inner-cheat : when he gets touched in an uncomfortable manner ( Walters lands a hook to his skull), Lomachenko resorts to fouling and blaming others for his failures in the ring ; you can see in these gifs Walters touches him with a jab then lands a hook, immediately thereafter Lomachenko commits the foul. Vasily and Sergay Kovalev are miniature Wladimir Klinchkos as far I'm concern.
And as some of you may already know, Lomachenko has been doing a lot of this in his last few fights ; in particular I noticed that he even grabs his opponents hands and forces them down ( almost grabbing them with his own glove ) to create a opening because if he tries creating a opening in traditional fashion ( letting his hands go in a combo ) you know what the outcome might result in getting countered and put to sleep! Why was the HBO crew praising this performance whilst these fouls were being committed in front of them? ( listen to the commentary - or better yet don't! ) is it because Loma fits the right profile? lets see : European, aggressive 'Fan-Friendly' style...but maybe I'm exaggerating because I'm giving HBO crew too much credit thinking they would identify these subtle ' tricks/ Veteran Tactics' as if they know anything about the sport.
It looks like Salido was too slick for Loma's dirty tactics and got schooled trying to play a vet and got beat in his own game so I don't want to hear about Siri's low blows -- the win was legit no excuses. Lastly for anyone that thinks I'm hating on Loma I picked him to win and inside eight vs. Nicolas Walters.
