So he unifies a division ( cleans it up) becomes lineal....lets talk about beating Ward a smaller man coming up in weight ( the only legit win IF he beats him ) been taking tune-ups since his last good win five years ago then you got Hopkins its not up for debate he was 49! great name but thats it...he beat an overrated euro-bum in Nathan Cleverly for his first title just three years ago...so I ask anyone how do you become ATG in three years? add to this Stevenson is like 40 years old maybe...I thought beating young primed elite champions is the standard...hmm.

The House of ATGs include names like Tommy Hearns, Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marvelous Marvin... Kovalev or Ward or GGG just don't fit in there I'm not saying present fighters are bad, they are great world class fighters to tear me apart but the names I've mentioned and their collegues are even better, dwelling at the outer space.

I'm no expert on this stuff, but depending on how he won those fights he might be an ATG in the division. Certainly not across all weight classes, though. He'd still have some work to put in.

              He's not big enough.

Sergey was a middleweight for most of his time as an amateur.

There's no big money to be made at cruiserweight anyway.

Ward IS NOT smaller than Kovalev. He's actually slightly bigger than Sergey.

Ward fought at Light Heavyweight in the amateurs, Kovalev fought mostly at Middleweight.
