i like errol spence, i really do but the guy has beaten literally nobody of note to date, holds no titles or prestige other than being the "unproven boogeyman" so why would he be on bradleys radar???

at this stage in his career bradleys calling out titlists,ex titlists and a future HOFer...im certain if timmy is still in the game when spence wins one of those trinkets or the welterweight championship, spence will be on bradleys opponent list just like the others timmy named as possible future opponents...

lets let the kid win something/or beat a live body before we start anointing him king or heir apparent...looks the goods though, i'll give him that

Cotto is not a legacy building fight at this stage of his career....of ever.

Cotto has been beaten before and is old and nothing at WW.

Beating Spence > Beating an old Cotto

not at all. Fighting Cotto brings 3x the money plus Cotto is only 2 years older than Bradley and is a future HOF fighter. Spence may never get to that point, has never sold a ppv and isn't a known fighter among casuals. Would be a terrible business decision to fight Spence instead of Cotto. Bradley is too smart for that.

Question is with the exception of probably cotto would those fighters even win against against bradley.

The problem with fighting bradley is those guys don't have an ounce of a chance of knocking him out. His chin is granite and his recuperating prowess is as good as any of the most resilient fighters out there.

If you can't knockout bradley It's best to speculate you'll most likely to lose against him by being outworked, outskilled or get totally schooled like the legendary marquez. A testament that his skill is capable of beating elites. While those guys he mentioned has not been tested against true elites again with the exception of cotto who fought everybody.

Don't count pacquiao out and most probably floyd although different styles but those guys are way above the level of the thurman's, garcia's and porters of these boxing world. In a way both of these are the superpowers of boxing and everybody else is a pawn they can play with at any given time.

Agree on both counts. Bradley/Porter would be super ugly. Bradley/Spence would be outstanding, though.

I'd also definitely be for any one of Porter, Khan, Cotto.

Yes an old Bradley (who has never had much power to begin with) fighting against a younger, faster opponent who is a lot taller and has a bigger reach. Maybe you haven't noticed but Khan does pretty well against guys who aren't heavy handed and Bradely is hardly elusive.

Povodnikov the killer lost to Algeri....Spence damn near killed him.

Algieri won the fight with Provodnikov but its not like he blitzed him. This is also the Ruslan no one really knew about until after the war with Bradley....who unlike Algieri fought more toe to toe like a maniac.
I never said Bradley current has a title but in fact lost to only one person who in fact currently has a title and is future HOF.
Although Spence spanked Algieri he has a way to go until he is considered top level.
