Comments Thread For: Bryant Jennings Ready To Step In, Face Anthony Joshua on 12/10

Heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings (19-2, 10KOs) is ready to step in, and replace Wladimir Klitschko on December 10th in Manchester. On that date, IBF champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs) will make the third defense of his heavyweight crown.

Decent fight, Joshua's best opponent to date

This would acctually be a good test for AJ, would allow him to get some rounds under his belt
If AJ faces Molina, Price or similar ****ty opponent for his next fight then he is huge fking hypocrite, he criticized Wilders opposition since becoming world champ and has himself done exactly the same so far as IBF champ, so hopefully we dont see another mismatch.
Ive said before that the best test for AJ atm is Stiverne or Jennings since both are durable and will test Joshuas resillience
AJ needs these kind of opponents to be able to be ready when he signs to fight the likes of Wilder, Haye, Klitschko and Ortiz, cause right now AJ would get crushed by all of them

Hell yea. Would love to see it. Sad that, even thought he's far from deserving another title shot, that Jennings would be far better than anyone Joshua has faced.

Jennings went 12 with Klitschko, won a SD against mike perez and TKO over Szpilka and was knocked out by Ortiz

Molina was knocked out by Wilder and Arreola and beat a way past prime Adamek, i didnt saw the fight, so I have no clue if the judges were biased, but up to the knockout Adamek was up 5 rounds lol.

Price has won against no one of note and was knocked out three times.

Between these three Jennings is the best choice, but I would prefer Pulev or Stieverne

agree with most of that, apart from the stirverne bit, he is totally shot and a c level plodder even in his prime.

                pulev
                if not then jennings
                if not then molina

whoever it is it can't be on PPV surely.

What is Ustinov up to these days? At least as a spectacle that would be something. Hearn does seem to favour matching him with Americans but they aren't top class outside Wilder.
