Which fight did you prefer in this year. I actually think Pacquiao vs. Marquez was my favorite fight of the two.

pac marquez 1, its hard to name trilogies that got better as the fight continued, maybe vasquez marquez i can say genuinley got better as they fought more.Originally posted by Boxing56 View Post -

Both were high drama, but Pac-Morales was one of the most legendary upsets/performances of the modern era.
That switching southpaw, bombs away by Morales in the last round was some throwback shit that you just don't think could possibly happen in modern boxing. You think you'd hear that happened in a fight from the 30s or 40s and go "Wow, no way is anyone crazy enough to do that **** these days, you'd expect them to run the last round and get the W"Comment

two great fights, but at that point we'd seen the morales/barrera fights and we know how the story goes. The marquez v pacquiao 1 fight was insane. That was some 4 fight series when you think about it. Marquez was obviously my favourite so i cheered him io, but pacquiao was a great warrior too and a hell of a fighter, as much as i criticise him. What i lvoed about that series of fights is that the skill level was so high but so much action, to me thats what boxing is about. Even the third fight which is talked about the least, i thought was great because everyone thought marquez was going to get a hiding and he proved everyone wrong, It just goes to show that one fighter can always be a nightmare for another if they have the correct style.Comment
