Haymon's not going to have his name on the paper, but what is to stop Lou DiBella (after budgeting out everything) to put down a bid that 1)would be more than they believe K2 is willing to bid on the fight and 2)would be below what they can comfortably budget for Golovkin-Jacobs to end up doing on the revenues.
You add that K2 may actually be unwilling to even take the fight if someone else wins the bid (stripping Golovkin of the WBA belt) and things get interesting.
Follow the money; between Showtime paying to air Golovkin-Jacobs, a possible sellout for the fight at Barclays Center, the merch/sponsorship push from BSE, and the potential bidding war for the UK TV rights to the fight, among the other revenues, if you honestly think that the net revenues are going to be below $5m, you're a fool.
To here you tell it, DiBella/Haymon could bid $5.5m (talking to Yvon Michel to see what they could add to the show to increase the Canadian money interest in the fight), a figure that's not beyond what the fight could end up doing, and Golovkin's camp would compel him to vacate his belt; Jacobs ends up having to fight Blanco for the WBA belt (in an admittedly smaller fight), but the stage gets set for Jacobs-Saunders and Jacobs-EubankJr.

As I don't see how you could do a bidding war between HBO and Showtime with GGG contractually signed with HBO??
HBO isn't getting a discount on the fight, for the simple fact that they've signed Golovkin to an exclusive deal.

Team Bull**** were willing to split the pot fairly with Hearn, because they really wanted to fight Kell Brook.
I highly doubt that Gennady Golovkin will ever be placed in harms way..... he is a fkn pu55y.

He should call GGG daddy at the press conference or maybe big brother.

Team Bull**** will not negotiate in good faith..... and Jacobs will not accept 25%..... so, that looks to be about it.
Thanks Team Bull****, for your unwavering contribution to boxing LMAO
Its a bonafide duck if Jacobs weasels out now. Theres no other way to interpret it. Unless of course, one is as ****** as you.

Going by their previous fights in NY I think this fight will sell out easily. And at a higher ticket price than Lemiuex/GGG and Jacobs/Quillin. Lemiuex had no name recognition in NY. GGG's name carried that fight. Jacobs did 9,000 at Barclays so he has name recognition in NY unlike Lemiuex. I think it's worth almost double the Lemiuex fight ($6 mil at the most). I'm also optimistic about the fight being made. I

Example.
I win bid with $3 million 75/25 guaranteed split. But I don't want to pay my fighter $2.25 million but instead I want to give then $4 million (Yeah I know ****** and not good business). Could I still pay other fight $750K???
