Why shouldnt we compare May to guys who had 80+ fights? Its not like the guys with hundreds of fights get loads of credit for stay busy fights is it? They get credit for beating great fighters in or around their prime, sometimes multiple times.

lol Pacquiao never had a mark on his back? Not sure what world you are living in, but he's been the money fight for years.
They are both 4 times lineal champion, so what the flying F are you talking about? Or are you going to mention Lineal defenses as well?
Yeah you wouldn't see Manny having a better resume. We can see why. You are exaggerating everything.
We all know what you guys are called.

FMJ doesnt even have a better set of wins than some of his opposition. Just because he has ageing GREAT names on his resume doesn't mean you can qualify those wins as binding! Otherwise Héctor Camacho would be one of the greatest of all time! Beat Duran & SRL. Floyd fans are pathetic.. Just like your hero cashing in on a name.
Best set of declining greats ever though probably. Terry Norris & Tim Bradley you rule too LOL
Is the OP saying FMJ has the best resume of all time?Last edited by 1g5a22; 10-14-2016, 09:25 AM.

Thats not even taking into account the solid contenders who come in and out of the rankings without achieving greatness (the likes of Maidana or Ortiz on FMjr's resume). Good wins that get forgotten by history and end up just part of the statistics rather than being considered the solid wins they are.

Montel seemed to have his timing and just a bad style for him. I remember watching the first fight and being like woah, Roy is in trouble here! Montel took his left hook away so well and timed beautiful right hands.
The performance in the rematch was outstanding.

Robinson had fought Jake Lamotta (x4), Sammy Angott (x2), Fritzie Zivic (x2) and Henry Armstrong before he had even won his first title Admittedly from what I have read he badly ducked early on, but still that was only 4 years of being a pro.
