    British heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte is gunning for a rematch with IBF heavyweight king Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs). This past Friday, Whyte (19-1, 15 KOs) broke down and stopped former sparring partner Ian Lewison (12-3-1, 8 KOs) to capture the vacant British strap at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow in his third fight since Joshua stopped him in the seventh round last December.

    Whyte is good for the game BUT he will have to improve loads and flatten Del boy otherwise he'll get no rematch , there's too many good fights out there now.

      He needs to up his game alot. He got mashed By Joshua who has gotten better since then too.

          Whyte is going to have to improve significantly and find a way to cheat and get on gear just like Anthony if he wants the fight to be on an even playing field.

            Whyte's shoulder injury is a convenient excuse - for certain it happened when he was KO'd though

              AJ is moving up in competition, not re-treading the same tracks he's already walked.

              You're gonna have to do a lot better than beating club fighters to get a paycheck dude.

                More fans need to watch the Lewison fight before commenting. He was much improved in that one, and was able to avoid getting tagged a lot by the bomber Lewison. And he landed some serious body shots the entire match. The Chisora fight would be a classic. Whyte is still building, obviously, but he's getting there.

                  Whyte should of KOd Joshua in the 2nd and 3rd rounds he went into that fight with a well documented shoulder injury which was operated on 2 days afterwards and his conditioning was awful he was exhausted by the 5th round.

                  I've just watched the Lewison fight and Whytes massively improved especially his stamina, defence and shot selection if he eeps improving I really think he beats Joshua in the rematch.

                    Whyte was breathing heavy in the fight bc all the damage he was taking along with all the missed punches both a combination for disaster . I dont think he will be Joshua level but will be better than what ppl are seeing him , hes one of the best boxer punchers out there who doesnt lack speed or size or chin so not sure what many are looking at .

                    No way should have Whyte K.O "d Joshua at any point, Whyte himself was nearly K.O "d from beginning to end with maybe AJ taking rnd 5 off if i remember . Joshua wont be so easily swayed into leaving a game plan which is box first before going for a home run ,clearly he abandoned it the beginning 2 rnds.
