How in the hell did you make that conclusion from this article? Seriously? I'm grasping at straws how you could connect that logic together. Please reveal your apotheosis.

Canelo is already moving up to golovkin's weight class and is offering ggg a career high payday but golovkin wants more
its also a career high payday for canelo with a fair 60-40 split. no one ever frames it like this of course. thats always how big fights between 2 popular fighters have been done. only since the clown floyd came along and tried to rob pac has this flat fee nonsense come around. canelo is learning from his daddy how to avoid fights.

Actually, all evidence suggests that GBP is being hard to work with. A flat fee? Make him wait while you go to court? Vacate? Set a future date that Loeffler wanted in writing? Say Canelo is a 154 fighter, then say he's not, then say he is, then say that he's going to eventually move up to 160? These aren't the tactics of a man who's confident. GBP has all the money, clout, & notoriety to make the fight at any time. But if they don't want to play fair, how can the boxing fans take them seriously?

I think percentage is the fairest for both fighters. The question is what is the fair percentage. I'd hope GGG could get 20%. Hopefully they can work out a deal. It's going to be a big fight if it happens.

70% for canelo and 30% for ggg seems fair!

70% for canelo & 30% for ggg seems fair because of their respective ppv and ticket sales in recent fights!

Let me see, Canelo says I'll fight him, I'm ready after Cotto. Nope.

Canelo says I'll fight him after Khan, nope.

Canelo says he vacates belt to negotiate the fight, but ends up fighting Smith and kicking the GGG fight 18 months down road.

And then wants GGG to take a flat fee a year before the fight.

Ok, yea, sure, they want the fight.

Big fights have always been done based on each fighter's PPV drawing power. Like when Oscar made Floyd accept a 70-30 split.

What has Golovkin done to deserve 40%?

Didn't somebody predict that Canelo's team would lowball GGG? It is as the prophecy has prophesied. It's become a laugh riot to see Canelo apologists try to defend the BS. The funniest one is they keep saying that GGG's resume isn't good enough to get the Canelo fight. F#ckin laugh riot.

Actually I think Oscar made $55 million and Mayweather made $10 million when they fought.
But look, that opened the doors to Floyd becoming a ppv star. So little g should do the same and take a smaller cut cause he's clearly the b-side in the negotiations
