I'm not sure they will do it here in England.

DeGale isn't really a big name here at all. Since boxing here has really picked up in the last year or two, DeGale has been fighting outside of the UK and missed out on a lot of exposure.

Considering he's an olympic gold medalist and definitely one of the best of the British world champs now, he's never quite had that support from British public that a lot of fighters get.

Also, as far as i know, DeGale only works with Hearn when he fights in the UK. DeGale works with Haymon outside of the UK, so i could imagine it being a Mayweather Promotions event in USA.

Maybe i'm wrong though. I just can't see them fighting in the UK and having to give Hearn a stake in the promotion when they don't need to. If he shifted tickets and PPV's like Joshua or Brook then i'd understand if they would want to do that, but he doesn't. Nobody is buying a James DeGale PPV here. And Jack is basically unknown here which doesn't help.

Yes over here in the UK it would definitely be a PPV fight its basically number 1 vs number 2 of 168 put Callum Smith on undercard and hey presto we'd have something strong going on there.

Lol I was about to snap cause nowadays it seems like everyone accepts just about anything on PPV here in the US. So I needed to double check you meant in the UK. That makes sense though.

Nah, hell no haha no way would a Swede Vs a Brit over in the US be a PPV neither of the two have made that much noise the PPV sales would be terrible If it was lol.

I like both fighters, I would pick DeGale if he wasn't so inconsistent and look great one round and horrible the next. I'm leaning towards Jack on this one.

Don't know why it took so long to make/announce but glad it's finally done.

Will decide the best at 168.

Well, from what I've seen on here, "it's a top fight so it could be PPV." Not this fight specifically but that's some people's way of thinking around here. Nowadays it seems like you stick anyone on PPV and people are willing to pay for it. I mean, can you believe 200k people paid 70 freaking dollars to watch Canelo beat up Smith?
