WRONG. Look, you dont get to just make up whatever crap you want to suit your agenda. Ward's "offer" came the day GGG signed for the Lemieux fight, which was before Canelo vs Cotto even happened. So stop already............

      smh............
If Brook ( a WW) was his best opponent to date, and he was able to out box him for 2 rounds, then Ward, who was top #3 P4P and bigger and stronger than Brook, would've destroyed GGG. Thus, the demand for 164! It is what it is!

Ward made an offer after GGG was contracted to fight Lemieux, and it would have required GGG to give up on trying to unify 160 and move up to 168.

Ward had not actually made a 168 weight since 2013, and doesn't think he could make it now anymore anyway.

Conclusion: the fight was never close to being made, was never easy for either side to make, and nobody is at fault for it not happening.

Both sides will keep accusing each other of duckling because it' a cheap headline, but the truth is it didn't happen.

GGG could've fought Ward at 168, and came back down to 160, just like Floyd fought both Oscar and Cotto @ 154, but then came back to 147. GGG could've fought Lemieux, Ward would've fought a tune-up, and the fight was going to happen early 2016, just like the contract stated! GGG bet on Cotto and Canelo, and he got Wade and Brook! Kovalev vs. Ward in November. That's what champions do!

Here's our monthly Ward talking **** about Golovkin interview. I thought he would focus on his career with the biggest fight of his life looming in 2 months, but I guess I was wrong.

This is precisely why I like Ward the boxer, Ward the family man, but absolutely despise Ward the human being. He keeps yapping like a little dog about the slights in his life. "They're forcing me to up", "I don't know why I'm not a bigger star", etc. Good god, if Golovkin CHOSE to fight a 30th ranked 40 year old from a division below, he'd be a victim of a drive by the next day. Yet somehow Ward gets away with it because he says they're 'tune ups'.

Golovkin is a man, and ***ing acts like one. He said he's tired of Ward's bull**** and that Ward is dead to him, and that was IT. That's how a MAN behaves.

What does that have to do with anything? "154-175 can get it"

Ward challenged him. 97K and his team said wait until 2017.

What does any of that have to do with 97K getting a belt?
