I don't think it's just because of GGG.

I lost a lot of respect for him because of the 155 CW and the whole "I took risks by draining 2 lbs for Floyd" crap they're trying to spin.

Canelo's also the undisputed guy who SHOULD move up, yet almost nobody calls for him to move up. People want him to fight Golovkin, but nobody said that he needs to move up. That kind of hypocrisy and BS really irks me.

I think it's mostly down to him trash talking to only then vacate and avoid his mandatory. Then continue to trash talk.
The whole 155 thing was an annoyance as well.

Canelo is disliked for calling out GGG twice in post fight interviews. Then vacating or stringing us along. People say HBO is pushing the GGG fight on him, but why wouldn't they?

They know we want it, it's not like when PBC tries to convince us John Molina Jr. is gonna beat Danny Garcia.

HBO wants to gets more viewers and they know the Golovkin-Canelo fight is the way to do it. Also, it's not a big ask for him to move to his natural weight, he easily comes in the ring at 180lbs and then lied to the public by saying he wants to grow into 160.

Reading Facebook/Twitter/Instagram comments it seems that Canelo has a lot of critics but I find it hard to believe it's just cause of GGG.

The Canelo hate on here has been consistent since before the Trout fight.

He was a 'hypejob' before fighting Trout, he was 'never going to fight Lara'...just leave them to it.

Yes though, a lot of it is from the GGG saddos.

Mostly the GGG fiasco, but also his choice of opponents recently and his lack of initiative. I used to be a fan when he was on the come up. But he has struggled with the top opposition and GBP are flaunting him as something he isn't.

Its one thing to vacate a WBC WORLD TITLE without a fight, its on a completely new and diffdrent level calljng him to the the ring and essentially threatening him in front of the world, then vacating. Shame job!!
