Thurman should get the shot amd Amir should fight Spence since Kell isn't coming back down.

      Agreed.

Id like to see this rematch.. I think Khan can put it off. He just needs to not get caught again. Of course we say this about every Khan fight lol.

Wait. Don't rematches happen when a previous fight was at least close. Who the hell wants to see Kahn get knocked out again. Okay raise your hands! It's getting comical really.

Khan and his father & uncle are really shrewd negotiators. Remember, Haymon "OK'd the Canelo fight" but it was Khan and his clan that made the Canelo fight.

They played their hand like they weren't ready to jump at that Canelo PPV money (of course Khan was gonna be taking the Canelo fight no matter whether the WBC said yes or no, lol)

... and they got the WBC to agree to hold his mandatory position vs. Garcia at 147 if he took the Canelo fight.

Now Khan's had the opportunity to do his Ramadan thing, take off some extra muscle he added for a higher weight, recover for awhile from a brutal KO, and get his hand bone fused so he can punch harder without fear of breaking it.

Moreover, you can say what you want, but the buildup to this fight will be ****ing epic. Angel Garcia not backing off of his racial trolling ("Pakistanis can't fight") ... Khan out to get revenge on Danny (and Angel).

People will get p*ssed off and call Khan delusional when he (inevitably) points out that he was dominating the hell out of Garcia until he got caught (he'd be right in saying that, but isn't that the story of so many Khan fights, lol).

And honestly, even if you don't like the fight or you think it's "undeserved" (on either end), is there a boxing fan in the world who wouldn't watch it.

That's the appeal of Khan. He takes some risks (as long as the payday is reasonable) and he's not truly afraid of anyone. He always believes he's got a chance to win and he'll try to win ...

... and you may get a fight where he comes out on top after a pugilistic rollercoaster or you'll get a fight where he dominates someone until his focus and his defense lapses and his opponent scores a highlight-reel KO.

In a Khan fight, you can't get up and pop a bag of popcorn. You have to sit on the edge of your seat, glued to the screen, because he's either going to notch an amazing win that you didn't think he'd get and look awesome, or he's going to look amazing until he gets KTFO, which can happen at literally any time.

Even if you hate Khan's guts, you really can't deny that his fights are "must-see TV"
