    If Kell Brooks orbital bone never got broke, would have he had continued success?

    Watching a clear video of the fight now I see that Kell Brook outboxed GGG for the most part in round 1 until he got hurt himself, and won round 2 conclusively while stunning him also.
    It was only until the beginning of round 3 where his orbital bone broke and it just went downhill from there

    Had he not broke it would have the rest of the rounds been like round 2?
    I know his orbital bone broke because of GGG but had it never happened you'd have to believe Kell may have continued with similar success as rounds 1 and 2

    I don't think he won round 2 conclusively, it was a close round that he may edged. I gave it to him but there's an argument the other way.

    Big ups to Brook's effort, but only one guy was throwing hammers in there and that was decisive.

      No. Gennady found his distance and started landing more and more. It was only the matter of time.

      Kudos for brave effort from Brook. But his power would never be enough to keep Gennady off him and that's GAME OVER.

        I would imagine so. It came when Brook was having success.

        He would have been beaten either way though.

          After 4th, Roy Jones watched Brook in corner & told me "Brook giving up." Corner stopped prematurely to put responsibility on them #GGGBrook

          pillow fist Paulie went the distance after getting his orbital bone smashed by Prime Cotto in the 2nd
