He's in great shape, for a normal human. But he's not looking that great for a world class boxer. Maybe a mid level bodybuilder. Too much muscle isn't a good thing in boxing.

For those who compare GGG vs. Brook to Leonard vs. Hagler, this is already looking bad! Sugar Ray offered his thoughts on what Brook could do to beat GGG:

          August 30, 2016:

And Leonard added that there are lessons Brook can learn from his 1987 Vegas clash with Hagler.

"To maintain the weight was quite difficult, I was kind of a natural welterweight," said Leonard.

"My weight would not go beyond 155 so it was very difficult trying to maintain 160."

"I was trying to figure out what weight I should be. As the fight got closer, I weighed in at 158, which didn't take away from my speed and didn't take away from my mobility."

Brook is NOT Sugar Ray Leonard! Good luck with the weight loss!

WTF man... he will still lose some fat in the next seven days, but he's very ok, better than most boxers at this point. He has less fat than Canelo I think.

The problem is that he was so cut at 147 that people want him to look that way at 160 but that's impossible.

He's way better than Khan who looked skinny fat.

Brook is having trouble making 160?

He'll never fight at 147 again, he should just drop the belt and allow Spence and Ponomarev to fight for it.

because of a 10 sec video of him jumping rope? Show me a video of his workouts when he didn't have all this weight on? And you will see on fight night when he moves like he's stuck in mud because he packed on too much weight and doesn't have the same speed and mobility. He ain't winning this fight and lifting weights don't help your chin. It will just slow him down and make a easier target for GGG to knockout. This fight is joke no matter how much Kell Brook wants to turn into a body builder in the last 2 months.

Or maybe he is naturally a 160lber that has been boiling and starving himself down to 147...

When you starve yourself down to a weight, your body rebounds back to its natural weight pretty fast.

EXACTLY. Normal everyday people in a few months can pack on 20-30 pounds of muscle just to look good for a bytch. But if you care more then just what your body looks like it's a problem. Otherwise if all you needed was to get on a insane weight lifting program to be successful in boxing you would see featherweights jumping up to middleweight in 1 year. It don't work that way in boxing. Adding that muscle almost always hurts you more then helps especially if you do it in a short amount of time.

Surprisingly Brook looks like a legit middleweight, not a guy moving up from welter.
