I thought you all complained Brook is too small, now you complain he is too big? Yeah just do whatever to discredit the fight.

Brook being at the 5% limit 7 days before the fight is normal to him.

It's pretty obvious Brook wants to be closer to 170 than 160 on fight night. If he wants the benefits of his speed along with some added physicality to enable him handling GGG that's the weight he needs to train at. He'll dehydrate for the weigh in and come back up to his training/performing weight on fight night. It's not as crazy as some of you are making it out to be.

It would be worse for him to train at a lighter weight and then try to come in heavier on fight night. Most people seem to think he needs to stay light to avoid GGG's power, but you might be forgetting Brook is not exactly untouchable, he's a physical fighter and he wants to translate that to middleweight as well.

Putting on weight won't help your chin.

Water weight? LOL! Brook will have to starve too. He's not going to drink 20 Lb.s of water after the weigh in. Are you guys serious?

How the hell did Brook make 147lbs for so long?

We need to stop acting like GGG is taking some major risk fighting a guy whose best win is Shawn Porter! Porter got dropped by Broner in the 12th, then beat by Thurman @ 147. In no way does that make him a threat to GGG. Brook's fights since that win are Jo Jo Dan, Frankie Gavin, and Kevin Bizier! He's (Brook) not in the ESPN Top 10 P4P today, and I don't think GGG has fought anyone in the ESPN P4P Top 10 yet! It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less! BTW, Keith Thurman is ranked ahead of Brook by ESPN @ 147! I'm just sayin'! Maybe Thurman should have been the target, and not GGG!
Maybe Thurman and Porter should've fought each other back in December instead of ****ing around

And when they can't kill themselves anymore squeezing down for weight advantage, they finally have to "dare to be great" lol

Tell that to the multitude of fighters who lose about 20lbs in the last week. That 7lbs is literally all water. It'll go away in an hour in the sauna.

By not carrying the extra weight he is for this fight, pretty simple. He weighs 12lbs more than he did when he beat porter atm.
