I would make Peevetkin fight David Haye in a punishment eliminator. If he failed a test for any other fight banned for 1 year again after for life. Remember Fury, wlad, Joshua champs in other divisions. Remarkably Ortiz not in the WBC top 10. Haye has blinding speed for a heavy and before using Povetkin was a slow of foot and hand chubby man. He will get blitzed by Haye as long as Haye doesn't stay in one spot long for big counter Poevetkin counted out Tyson style on knees looking for mouthpiece dirty camp of povetkin left this one behind time to check

Povetkin's promoter feels that Wilder has not paid due reverence to mother Russia. Mother Russia is the real GOAT.

Povetkin's promoter feels that a marriage between his fighter and her Majesty the Queen of England would be advantageous to both parties.

Povetkin's promoter feels blue candy is stronger than red.

Now because of faling a test they should have to fight and win a eliminator. This should be against wilders choice from the top 10 as wilder was going to be the one at risk
Per WBC rules a champion only has to make one mandatory defense a year (when the WBC actually designates one), however at the WBC'S discretion, the mandatory can be delayed if the champion fights a approved voluntary opponent (which Wilder did VS Areola). so essentially according to the WBC rules, Wilder has until July 2017 to fulfill his mandatory obligation against the winner of Stivern vs Povetkin. Concerning "Champion in recess": per WBC rules they make that decision on a case by case basis, so yes, they will treat every boxer and situation differently. So based on these "facts" no, Wilder should not be a "champion in recess".

          Ryabinskyi pushing his luck here.

Fight Stiverne, Povetkin will beat him. Take Wilder next year.

Injuries are what they have interim champions for.

If Povetkin hadn't blown the shot at Wilder by having meldonium in his system then we would already have seen this fight.

            So Ryabinskyi should just STFU.

There's a REALLY good article by Dan Rafeal on this entire BS! With the EXACT amount tested. It even CONFIRMS!!! That Pedvetkin Tested completely negative three times and then POSITIVE! An expert said their is NO way that could happen without doping afterwards.

No F'N WAY you take it late 2015 like he claims and then pass three tests but almost 7-8 months later test for small amounts.

              Pedvetkin = BS

There only bringing this up because they want a 50/50 split instead of 70/30. U are 100% correct he has until July to fulfill his mandatory.

Ryabinsky's probably not super confident Povetkin can beat Stiverne + Wilder to then cash out vs Fury, Joshua or Klitschko. I can understand Ryabinsky's angle, but this is standard ****, champ gets injured so they setup a interim title fight. Nothing sketchy there at all.

I actually don't really understand why they aren't just mandating for Wilder vs Povetkin next since Wilder is saying he'll be good to go by January. Thats not an untypical layoff for top fighters today.

Why? Dude just defended,,, if your boy didn't fail a drug test, he would have gotten his shot..

Wilder is hurt but won't be out long enough to claim he is champion in recess..

Povetkin's team desperate and clutching at straws.. Luckily the sanctioning bodies are corrupt and povetkin's team can bribe them to reinstate sasha as the mandatory
Can you refer me to the drug test Povetkin failed?

The meldonium found in his system turned out to be way below the legal limit so he did not fail that test. The WBC misinterpreted the rules and ****ed up.

Povetkin factually did not fail a drug test or violate any doping rules.
