Should GGG be considered Undisputed Middleweight Champion?

While I know he's not Ring ( who refuses the fight him and he's rated higher on the P4P rankings) and WBO (same), he has the WBA, IBF and WBC. In the past that was good enough for some, but he's not considered undisputed. Should he be? I understand he receives criticism (some just some unjust), but should that affect his status?

No, let the coward win it in ring. To me WBA and WBC plus lineal is fine.

Probably, the WBO champ refuses to fight him. The so called lineal champ dropped his WBC belt and ran back down to JMW effectively giving up the lineal too in my mind. Thats just my opinion though.

In this era with all the division & alphabet bs that makes unifying difficult, I think undisputed seems like a bit of a dated term.

Personally I just sorta see a guy like GGG as "THE Champion" as no other title holder carries the weight he does for me. Some divisions have a couple guys I deem as worthy enough to not consider either "THE Champion" until they fight assuming they do at some point.

He's the man at middleweight right now for sure. Undisputed champion is so hard to achieve these days. Not too hard in the ring, but getting all the champions to fight each other is very tough indeed. I give him a lot of credit. He's tried to get them all to fight him. Really, if he beats Canelo and gets the WBC and RING, who cares about the WBO strap that is currently held hostage? It was the last organization to come along an didn't matter until this century anyways. It got very little respect in the 90s.

No, he should not. Like some posters have said, he should be considered the number one middleweight, the man, the champion, etc.

Being undisputed can be just as hard on the negotiating table as in the ring. We can't arbitrarily start naming fighters undisputed just because we think they would come out on top during a titlist's tournament.

Essentially, he has to earn it, just like anyone else. People hate on Canelo, even I joked around a little bit, but he has a serious chance to beat GGG.

Canelo is undisputed -- he's lineal and he's A side... Therefore...

                    Unified, not undisputed.
