People want to see him face a blown up Golovkin, too. Don't mean it's going to happen, or should.
Originally posted by WesternChamp View Postthats exactly why a rematch is warrant. now had pac "showed up" and lost the fight, then you can kiss the rematch goodbye. the fact that you even admit that he didnt "show up" is what makes the rematch more interesting. on top of that, the first fight didnt end too well with pac's suppose shoulder injury and floyd's IV use. these two things will always be brought up when talking about the fight (like it or not).Originally posted by WesternChamp View Postnobody wants to see a rematch but this questions gets asked everytime they interview floyd, pac or roach.

"As much warranted resentment as Mayweather’s win over Pacquiao instilled inside casual and hardcore boxing fans alike. . ."
I wonder is this a poorly constructed sentence that doesn't convey the intended meaning or does the author believe that Mayweather winning warranted resentment?

Floyd's name gets raised because they want to sell their current crappy fights. Sit here and tell me that's not the case.

He's one of the few decent fights left for Floyd because he's undefeated. I'm not saying Garcia deserves 40million to fight Manny but they should have at least guaranteed him 10. It'd do closer to 1 million buys then 500,000 IMO. If it did 750,000k which I think it'd probably do better, it'd still make 45 million. 10 to Danny, 20 to Manny, and you still have 15 million left over.
If he beat Danny especially if he did it impressively could definitely give him a better shot to draw Floyd out for a 50th fight. Beating Vargas literally does nothing....I'm not saying Manny hasn't earned the right to fight who he wants at this stage of the game but if the ultimate goal is Mayweather, he should of fight Danny or Thurman. Eliminate the other top competition.
