All I can do is laugh when they make it seem like winning the super six was the greatest achievement in sports history.

Brand- old man coming up to 40 who was 168 pounder, took ward the distance
Barrera- old unproven cuban, a nobody really, took ward the distance
Smith- limited UK domestic level fighter, groves demolished him in 2, ward took 9 rounds
Rodriguez- another nobody who ward couldnt finish off
Dawson-pascal beat him fairly easy before dawson fought ward, stevenson put him away in 1 round, it took ward 10. Not a great fighter at all tbh, karpency beat him later too
Froch- wards best win and a good name on the record, although close fought, 115-113 on two cards. Plus froch not too hard to outbox, andre dirrell and jermain taylor both managed it for large chunks of the fight
Abraham- big stiff classical european plodder, lost every round to froch
Bika- a walking human punchbag who can take a good shot
Green- useless, completely useless, took ward the distance. 70 year old Glen johnson coming into ring with a zimmerframe managed to put green away inside the distance. one of the worst fights of all time
Kessler- technical decision, stopped on cuts due to wards headbutting. Frequent head butts throughout the fight. A good but not amazing fighter who calzaghe beat fairly comfortably (117-111 on one card as hbo scored it too)
Miranda- limited fighter with a big shot and not much else, bute put him away, pavlik put him away, he took ward the distance
Am i being harsh or is wards CV really not that impressive? Discuss...
Ward fought almost all these fights at home in oakland with hometown cooking refs as well

You can do that with any resume in the history of boxing if you want to, if it fits your agenda.
Also, people can say "Ward's entire career is built on beating Froch and Kessler" - And so what? You had to be a really top notch fighter to beat those guys back when he did.
I'm not a Ward fan at all but the first part of his career before his time away was about as good as it gets in terms of resume and beating the best in your division. You can't ask for much more than that.

Most of Golovkin fans know his resume isn't great, but it's solid with many good, but not great fighters. We also know that he's made an honest effort to make a fight with every good/great fighter and it didn't happen.
We also give Ward credit for having a good resume with wins over several high class fighters. When some say there's a 30% chance that fight with Kovalev doesn't happen due to Ward's history of promotional issues, injuries and difficulty negotiating, we're labeled unreasonable haters.
Majority of Ward fans are nowhere near as objective. They pretend Golovkin only fought D- fighters, with most of these morons reusing the same lame insult in every thread (ie 'can man', 'lil gina', 'g string', etc), they say that he's a small MW and should have fight Canelo at 155 CW, then they say that he's a big MW who MUST move up, they say that Ward's absolutely amazing and beat all of his competition with ease (even though a few scorecards were close), they pretend Golovkin is out there chasing the easy fights and he only wants to get paid - even though it was Ward who has fought Paul Smith and Alexander Brand. The last time Golovkin fought someone as bad as Smith or Brand was Ishida or Macklin, which was in his 2nd year in the US.
It's hard to respect a lot of Ward fans because they don't have the decency to respect other fighters and the sport of boxing. We all have our fan favorites, and dislike their natural rival. But that does not give you a right to be a disrespectful piece of trash. Anyone who can't make a post without throwing an insult in there is an absolute loser in my book.
now use common sense
These questions are in regards to Ward and GGG and their Career's in entirety
1) who has has fought more world champions?
2) Who has actually defeated fighters who were considered p4p and/or elite
3) who won more titles/ belts IN THE RING?
4) who has moved up fought across more divisions and poundage?
5) who is younger and has less fights?
now you know the answers to these......answering these questions dont support your position/agenda
now when you answer these questions, IF YOU EVEN REPLY.....it should show you how silly it is for GGG fanATICs to question someone else's resume when his is so weak in comparison, for a fighter so hyped. deal with it

you cant erase or ignore a mans accomplishments just because a fighter you like doesnt have accomplishments or comp that measures up, and thats what they are doing
they are just but hurt people criticize or share their opinion on GGG's resume or lack their of when these guys trashed other fighters who've done more than GGG for years and are presently doing it now with ward
when GGG actually fights someone thats considered elite, then people will shut up...the crazy hype for him wont stop, yet the better opposition wont start, so what do they expect. criticism comes with the territory when you try to convince fans a fighter is great without them proofing it in the ring vs top opposition.
cant make excuses for that
