    John David Jackson, trainer of IBF/WBO/WBA light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (30-0, 26KOs), laughed off some recent statements from Olympic gold medal winner Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs), who compared some of his stylistic attributes to a mixture of Floyd Mayweather Jr., Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins.

            GoldenBoi, I agree. I don't see Ward beating the Kovalev by KO but he can easily get a UD.

                May 2 was not boring. Mayweather held too much. (I'm against holding. I was happy when Klistchko had a point taken away from him in the ... Jennings fight??) He should have had points taken away years ago.

                Mayweather should have had point deductions here and there over the years. And, I think, he still would have won without holding. It would have been harder. But I think it would have been better for boxing.

                I think that if Ward holds too much Kov is going to wrestle him / throw him to the ground. This is a very interesting fight.
