I am sure you will always believe Santa Cruz won. I picked Santa Cruz to win and I'm a big fan of his but I will always believe Frampton won. I though they landed about the same amount of punches in many rounds. In more of the rounds I though Frampton landed the cleaner harder punches. Santa Cruz landed some hard punches but a lot of his punches were arm punches without much weight in them. Many of Santa Cruz's punches were more glancing blows than punches than that landed flush on the mark the way many of Frampton's punches did. I think a problem with scoring fights these days is scoring a round even seems to be illegal. Probably some of the rounds in this fight were even and should have been scored even. But since judges are no longer allowed to score rounds even they just give all the even rounds to their favorite fighter and fans do the same thing. It was a close, hard fought and hard to score fight. If you think Santa Cruz won it you might be right. Nobody can prove you wrong.

I felt like santa cruz won first time watching it...haven't watched it again tho. People saying frampton controlled the first half of the fight must have been watching something different than i was.

Frampton's head and neck were out of place in many overhands and combos by Cruz. Cruz's face, half as many. Frampton got rocked. As I said, I had to endure the Box Nation cast, and after the 6th round their attitude went from confident to worried. Up to the final bell Box Nation station said it would go either way, and after, even Bunce's team, said they didn't agree with the refs, and one commentator saying he was bias.

And lastly, I edited every single offensive attack and the scores add up, 7-5 or 8-4 for Cruz. Anybody thinks Cruz is not a good boxer is straight trolling. Frampton has great defense and a chin, but you don't win fights for solely having a great chin. Cruz defended that belt. Tom Schreck's card... and people complained about C.J. Ross..

Up the 9th round I had it tied 4-4, but the amount of clicks Frampton received to his from 9-12 shows why Cruz defended his belt with the win. What did Frampton do in 9-12th rounds better than Cruz? Nobody cares about the time in rounds when boxers aren't throwing.... this is why editing clips of only landed blows and defensive skills from either side is the only way to score. not a roar...

SK thanks for sharing your HL with me great work especially on the focus/zoomin in and slowing down the vid to help the viewer see the impact of the clean punches. You made a great point in your PM that I have not thought of : how Santa Cruz dealt with Framptons shot compared to how jolted Frampton was....in combinations yet they claim his punches were more convincing to the judges? how? granted that YES Frampton did land the best shot of the fight when he nearly dropped Santa Cruz but after that.. Anybody that cuts clips has to review the footage to select quality content you and I have both done so...and anyone who tries to find the best of Frampton vs. the best of Cruz in this fight will come to the truth because you cant make up material.....its right there for anyone that wants to try to refute it.

This is a delusional and cowardly thread. Framtpon won by at least 2 points, deal with it. Santa Cruz has a foolish style

Most sensible members on this board had it a close fight so how are we delusional? compubox favors Santa Cruz even in the Jab department...I challenge anyone to try to cut the video and post the best of Frampton vs. the best of Cruz and you will clearly see Cruz outlanded him in every facet.
