Age catches up with everyone, and with his style, it might catch up sooner. Hes a great boxer, and defensively responsible, and defensively underrated, but still, he takes more hits than your conventional technical boxer.

His style and age is gonna catch up to him sooner or later, and if he moves up, he's gonna lose to one of those big dudes. He's a small MW as is, and if he fights the way he does at SMW, he could get hurt.

With the level of his competition and opposition at 160 definitely.

With his style how would it catch up with him sooner?
He isn't a boxer who throws 1000 punches in a fight
He isn't a boxer that relies on moving about the ring a lot
He isn't a boxer that relies heavily on his reflexes

Guys like SRL they age for the worse guys like Bhop and GGG they can age pretty well as long as Golovkin is smart about his approach hell a fighter like Floyd was capable of doing it so why wouldn't Golovkin.

Because he'll take a hit to give a hit, and he's marching forward, regardless of your punching power, speed, countering ability, etc.

Did you not see the war he was in with Ouma, and Rosado?

He's not exactly the epitome of hit, and don't get hit. He gets hit pretty good in a lot of his fights. Stop being overly sensitive about your favorite fighter. Relax.

news flash: g strings resume is hot garbage. Again, absolutely nothing special about any fighter on g strings resume, before or after he fought them.

and mostly his handlers aren't going to match him up vs any opponent that has a real chance of beating him.

Ouma he had came into the country and had less than 12 hours to get ready he was still jet lagged very likely notice he had that weird little bum fluff stubble on his face?
He didn't even get time to shave he literally rushed into this one.

Then with Rosado he admitted to the press/public that he had been ill for a while.

Shouldn't you be impressed that he was willing to fight regardless of those factors?
Neither of those situations will happen when he fights Zurdo.

Simple, if he stays at 160 he goes down as a perennial under achieving heavy handed brute, undefeated yet over rated. If he moves up he'll lose, if he fights someone like Callum Smith or Andre Ward at 168 he'll be knocked out. I think he soundly beats guys like Jack, DeGale and Zurdo.

You think he soundly beats #1, #2 and #3 in SMW, but think he gets knocked out by the 5th ranked guy at SMW and a feather fisted LHW who hasn't fought at SMW in 3 years? Not just lose.. you think he'll get knocked out.

                    Wanna rethink that?

No not at all, I see nothing special in the top three. Smith however I see as a future PPV star in the UK and a top p4p fighter, who will ultimately move to 175.

Andre Ward is a cut above GGG already, should he make 168 comfortably I have no doubts at all he stops Golovkin.

If Smith had fought all his fights at 168 I believe he'd be in the top already, when or should be fight the top three I think he'll stop any of those guys. Ward was no.1 already there, he outgrew the divisom having cleared it out establishing himself p4p no.2 in the process, halted only by PBF from being recognised no.1 in the sport.

                      Read it and weep.

EDIT: my word I can't believe I missed that WHOPPER the first time, 'Ward is feather fisted' !? Did you just really say that ?! Ward looked as though he'd been hit by a freight train after their fight, Kessler I genuinely felt sorry for. NSB huh !
