...wrong....Ward was lying by not telling the whole truth...Ward is only talking through his hat....Ward called out GGG one hour after it was announced that GGG had a contract to fight Lemieux.....this can be checked out for a fact......second of all GGG's team had been trying to come to an agreement for two years with Ward....the problem was first Ward was in trouble with law suits with Goossen...they were suing each other....Goosen won the lawsuit three times.....then Ward signed with Roc Nation....the first thing Roc Nation said was that Ward needed two tune up fights before they would let Ward fight GGG...then Ward fought one fight at 172 pounds....GGG and his team got tired of waiting for Andre Ward to make up his mind what he wanted to do...then look at the numbers....Ward fought in his own home town and he could not put 4000 people in the arena....Ward fought at the Citizens centre and there were only 3000 people....every single word I have put here can be checked out by anybody simply by looking at the transcripts....and if that is not enough for you then here is a video by Tom Loeffler.....either Loeffler is lying or Ward is lying....only problem with that is that the transcripts will back up Loeffler and not Ward....

Please show us what offer was sent to Ward by K2 for a Golovkin fight.

You do realize that Ward beat the top boxers in the Super Middleweight Division and is now on course to face the #2 P4P, Unified Light Heavyweight Champion Kovalev while Golovkin has not beaten any notable opponents and is now on course to face a career Welterweight. Add this to the fact that Golovkin said Canelo vs Khan is bad for boxing and that Kell Brook is too small of an opponent......and you get well deserved ridicule and distaste.

It's very telling that while Golovkin is preparing to face Brook, his team is talking about an opponent that they would have accepted instead of talking about their actually opponent. This face saving is transparent.

There is a lot of this situation that's weird. It's like Hearn is the main promoter of this event, they signed an agreement with Hearn and then Hearn made all the decisions. I don't think they even agreed to Brook from the sounds of it but were told that's who they were fighting by hearn. "We had a contract signed by Golovkin, Eubanks Jr passed so I presented it to Brook and he took the fight within two hours." I'm not sure wtf is going on at K2 but how do you come to an agreement with a promoter without knowing who the actual opponent is. If this is really how it went down shame on Tom Loeffler for f'ing up yet again.

The bold is obviously absurd, and this article is a face-saving excuse..... one that most of Golovkin's pacifist fanbase will happily consume.
