Then perhaps Wilder's handlers should have postponed the date until a more fitting candidate was available. It's a disgrace that Arreola was picked in the first place, and an even bigger disgrace that the WBC allowed this farce to go down as an official title defence.

Is Povetkin to be blamed for that as well?

Be like Wilder fighting a Cruiserweight.

      160-147 = 13 lbs.

      Wilder weighs 215 roughly.

      215-200 = 15 lbs.
Yeah if there was a world class cruiserweight he would be a better option than the **** hes fighting, unfortunately cruiserweight is a piss poor division.
Ask yourself why GGG is in every P4P list (other than the haters on this site) and wilder is on noones if there CV's and performances are so similar. Only on this forum do people put them in the same category.

Yeah i agree, just always seems to be an excuse as to why he doesnt fight someone half decent. Can allow it as a one off but is coming up to 40 fights now. Not as if wilder is some boogeyman of the division, fighters must see him as their lottery ticket because he is very very vulnerable, i dont imagine ortiz or haye would be running away from him lol

There are tons of cruiserweights who'd clean Arreola's clock. A few who might do the same to Wilder as well.

No way this is true, at least not for Wilder. I mean how else could we legitimize the PED experts threads on this site that say he has to be doping because he looks the way the does?

              Can't argue there???

Yes, Pedvetkin is partially to blame. I believe he was trying to cheat. Look at the Russians now?? They're not even going to compete in Rio!!! Because how deep their cheating goes up the ladder!!!

But I also blame that lab for VADA as well! If he was TRULY under the limit they shouldn't of said JACK SHT. As that was acceptable amount. They don't even know their own rules. I do NOT blame Wilder who went off info TOLD to him, Pedvetkin, and the WBC in writing. I still can't figure out how 3 come back clean, fail 4th, and then pass a 5th. Both samples failed also... I think someone F'd on the timing. Excuse my came under limit on 4th.

Povetkin's responsible for the fight being called off. He is not responsible for the ******** that followed.

GGG is P4P for a reason but not because of his resume of who he fought but because of how EASY he makes it look. He's also smoked Chavez Jr. In sparring who KO'd the 4-5th best MW Andy Lee. He also Bambi-Legged Canelo in sparring.

The MW division is GARBAGE. What that say when two ex139lbers were ranked #2 and #3???

                  #1 GGG A+
                  #2 CanYellow A-
                  #3 Cotto B

                  The rest C/D.
