The fact you're a sad keyboard is confirmed when you choose to overlook why Ward was inactive, he broke free from his contract and now earns substantially more with his new contract making up for the shortfall during his inactivity, the contract he has already signed to face the p4p king Kovalev whom replaced him in the rankings during his activity is a sure sign he is prepared to fight anyone and everyone just as Kovalev will.

Their is a shortfall in guys involved in boxing to take on ANYBODY, Ward is part of a very small elite group of others dudes including Wlad, Kovalev and also although pains me to say it the fat tub of goo Fluff Fury.

He was extremely sharp against Barrera and didn't show the diminished reflexes most guys do as they get older.
With his style it may have helped

he is a gym rat like floyd....watching his last 2 fights, he doesnt waste as much movement, and catches a shoots far better today

it was cool watching how he'd make barrera miss shots by making settle steps, slips and slides

Taking a break added to floyds career and he finished strong to enhance his resume

      ward can too

im no lawyer so dont understand contracts, guess it was in his contract that he wasnt allowed to fight a good fighter for a few years? Cause hes fought rodriguez, smith, barrera and about to fight brand. Not having it that hes the fighter who 'takes on all comers' lol. Did he really need to fight 4 bums?

dont know what an alt is, new to forums. Funnily enough i wasnt talking about golovkin hence its a thread on andre ward, pretty sure lemiux was top 5 as was geale at the time, macklin was a good fighter when ggg fought him, pretty sure he went after cotto/canelo/martinez but they wouldnt fight him, brooks a top fighter and at least he has been active. Im no sport scientist either but ive heard of having a few weeks off to recuperate, not 5 years of doing jack****

You don't have to be a lawyer to know he was inactive between Rodriguez and Smith due to his promotional issues. The Barrera fight was against a solid B class opponent, who may very well go on to be a title holder in a division with no Ward Kovalev or Stevenson, kind of a Geale level type guy.

Fact remains Rodriguez and Barrera are as good as anybody currently on Triple Duck's resume if not better. Laugh it up with your 'fights all comers' comment, whilst Ward is lining up a p4p king upon defeating him he'll likley be recognised p4p no.1 a weight class he moved up to to pursue this fight, Triple Duck is facing a guy two weight classes below him.

Imagine a scenario where Triple Duck moved up two weights to pursue a fight versus a p4p champ, hard to imagine isn't it, hard because it won't ever happen. He won't even move up a single weight. Whether or not you personally give Ward his props, the entire boxing world is except for one type of fan, A Triple Duck fan.

The Triple Duck fan base is by the worst since the Pav fan base, their is plenty to suggest those fan bases are one and the same. You guys are not boxing fans, your fan boys of particular fighters. You're pathetic.

Who is 'triple duck' ducking? Who are these killers at middleweight hes ducking? Unfortunately he is too good for his own good, and ducknelo and diva cotto didnt want anything to do with him, same with eubank and saunders. Why should ggg have to move up weight classes, isnt even a big middleweight and theres **** all at super middleweight. Brooks stepping up two weight classes, more fool him when he gets knocked unconscious. It isnt a fact that them two are as good as anyone on GGG's record cause they are not.
