This coward will only be remembered for going up in weight to avoid Gennady. He is fighting a diet version of Golovkin in Kovalev. Gennady hits harder and is fundamentally better in every aspect. Ward is a punk bish!!

Why should coWard watch Krusher fight? He will never actually fight him so thats a non-issue. coWard will just fight a few hapless window washerslike this rust stain he's fighting next. He only ran to 175 to avoid getting his ass whooped by GGG. Getting 40 lashes from Krusher defeats the purpose.

A lot of fighters talk, but it doesn't mean much.

Ward once said he wanted to fight Klitschko, but right now he's set to fight an age 40 journeyman super middleweight who he's bring up in weight.

Kovalev showing some possible vulnerability is probably the best thing that could of happened though I do think his performance has been blown out of proportion & Chilemba is better than a lot realise.
Chilemba also looked in the best shape I've seen him.

All-in-all I feel it was very good prep for The Krusher and going 12 rounds with a crafty vet like Chilemba can only be a good thing. He can take a lot from that & I like how he adjusted mid fight taking a subtle step back making Chilemba's jab fall short and countering him. He is much more than just a puncher he has a very good boxing brain.

He said it's in a fighter's DNA to believe they can beat anybody, and that he believed he could take a Klitschko, not in a literal sense, but in the sense that a fighter must believe in himself.

Chilemba is a guy you'd probably typically avoid not take as a tune up. Nobody looks good against him.

Its the only upcoming fight I am truly excited for. Its been a long time since I have felt so anxious for a fight. I hope Ward comes through his fight unscathed and doesn't get cut or anything. This would be a great way to end what has not exactly been boxings finest year.

All the mismatches, fights not living up to the hype, delays etc I really hope boxing can end the year with a ****.
