I think GGG would like to fight better fighters but he can't always get the fights he wants because he doesn't make other fighters that much money yet. Some top middleweights don't want to get KOed and not get paid all that well either.

    Agreed on all points.

I wonder if Larry realizes that not every Golovkin fan is a Floyd hater...

Who are those fighters he knocked out?? and what title did he defend 14 times?? the WBA??? Sturm was the champ till 2012 yet we count GGG's defenses?? why are the rules changed for him?

oh wait, you don't ever hear them making a peep out of that. "Marquez was p4p" is their best excuse
1.Floyd didn't intentionally come over the limit he was coming off of a rib injury and a 2 year layoff
          2.Marquez was Top 3 P4P...that's a fact it isn't an excuse
3.Floyd doesn't even get much credit for that bout, even though JMMM Ko'd Pac at the same weight.

Much bigger than the disparity between him and Marquez...
You've missed the point. It's the fact that nobody thought marquez had any chance to beat floyd that makes it similar to the ggg vs brook and canelo vs khan situations. In all cases, there were other opponents that could have been selected. So we shouldn't be critical of ggg cuz this may be a "blip in history" then?

FLOYD NEVER faced a BIG NAME in their prime, NEVER. And if he did, he did it at a catchweight.

Golovkin didn't want to fight Andre Ward. That shoots to hell your claim that he wanted to fight the best in their prime!

I love how you haters make this ridiculous claim that Floyd never fought a big name in their prime. IF Floyd fights a big name, clowns like you will say he wasn't in his prime. If he fights a guy in his prime, you say he wasn't a big name.

In Mayweathers last 12 fights, he fought Berto, Pacquaio, Maidana, Alvarez, Guerrero, Cotto, Ortiz, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, De La Hoya and Calos Baldomir. Of these fighters, nine were world champions at the time Floyd fought them(10 if you include Marquez 135 pound championship). It doesn't matter if they were big names or if they were in their primes, Floyd fought them.

Compare this list of world champions or top level contenders to the last 12 opponents that GGG, Deontay Wilder, Saul Alvarez, Keith Thurman, Leo Santa Cruz and Kell Brook have fought.

GGG is fighting no-hopers and 147-pounders. He doesn't even belong in the same conversation as Mayweather.
